Supporting local groups in Darent Valley

Each County Councillor in Kent has a Member Community Grant, a £10,000 annual fund for supporting projects of community benefit within his or her Division. If the County Councillor supports a project, it then goes to the relevant Cabinet Member at KCC for final approval (I haven't had one turned down yet).


Projects have to demonstrate community benefit and be one-off in nature - in other words, they must not generate an ongoing spending commitment for the County Council. Please feel free to contact me if your organisation is interested in applying for a grant.
